Magic Carpets
In addition to the return of the electricians, my favorite carpet layer from Dallas arrived with his two man crew today. There is nothing that makes a space look more finished as quickly as carpeting. Beautiful paint and millwork can brought low by an old concrete floor but when the flooring goes in, suddenly things look clean and new. Two Guest Rooms and the Master Bedroom are shown below as well as the work in progress.
It was also a busy hardware day with door levers being installed as well as countless cabinet knobs and pulls. Do you know the difference in a knob and a pull?
The privacy film was also installed on the upper window sashes in the Master Bath. A long and busy day with much more coming Tuesday as we race to the finish. Have a great evening!
